I hired Golden Outdoor Solutions for a two-phase backyard paver installation totaling $12,600. My initial concerns were color inconsistency, improper sealant appearance, grass/weed growth, ant hills, and workmanship issues. I raised these concerns early, but they were repeatedly minimized or dismissed. Because my concerns were not taken seriously, I paid for independent inspections. What began as cosmetic concerns escalated significantly: • A fence company documented concrete installed against and under my fence, encasing the bottom rail, contributing to bowing, restricting flex, increasing wind-load risk, and voiding warranties. • A home inspector documented uneven/lifted pavers creating trip hazards, improper drainage/grading, standing water, water directing toward my A/C unit, patio, and fence line, and broader property concerns. • Additional contractor evaluations identified costly workmanship deficiencies. Other issues include standing water, visible water marks, buried fence sections, A/C obstruction concerns, and increased worry with Florida hurricane season approaching due to unresolved drainage. Many larger concerns may never have been discovered had my original concerns been properly addressed. Instead, I had to spend additional money on inspections because I felt dismissed. Despite providing documentation, photos, and opportunities to resolve this professionally, meaningful resolution has not been provided. Due to the seriousness of these concerns, I filed a formal BBB complaint and am proceeding with civil legal action. This experience has caused financial loss, safety concerns, stress, and property-related issues far beyond what I originally expected. I strongly encourage future customers to carefully verify workmanship, drainage planning, and accountability before hiring. "UPDATE" Thank you for your response. To clarify, my concerns are not based solely on personal preference or color selection. While my earliest concerns did include visible color inconsistency, sealing appearance, grass/weed growth, and ant hills, those were the initial warning signs that led me to seek further professional evaluations after my concerns were repeatedly minimized. Independent inspections and third-party findings expanded the scope beyond appearance and documented concerns including uneven and lifted pavers creating safety hazards, standing water and drainage issues, grading concerns, fence obstruction and warranty impact due to concrete placement, and broader workmanship-related concerns. My frustration is not about changing my mind after approving a design, but about the progression from initial visible concerns to larger documented issues that required me to hire multiple outside professionals at my own expense because I did not feel my concerns were being fully addressed. As the homeowner, I relied on professional expertise not only for installation, but also for proper guidance regarding foreseeable risks related to drainage, grading, and surrounding structures. My decision to decline certain remediation options was based on concerns that partial fixes would not fully address the broader scope of issues identified through independent inspections. This matter is being handled through formal channels, and my review reflects my personal experience, documented concerns, and the financial and emotional burden this process has caused.

The work was done professionally and on time. I would recommend it to others.

Lucas and his team turned our driveway from a cracked mess to a lovely sight-we live downtown with lots of walkers and many have asked for Golden’s number. We needed two permits and he got them both as quickly as possible. He showed a us a large selection of pavers ( bricks in our case ) to choose from (all the same price) ; he put river stone on a strip beside the driveway as a border, made everything neat and nice. We have recommended him to all that have complimented us on our ( long overdue) project. He told us the job would start one day and finish the next, and that’s what happened! The cleanup was super, contract of dust or dirt around the driveway afterwards. He really cares about the work and it shows. We actually have a second drive that will need re paving sometime; I won’t hesitate to call him! Thank you so much for your professional work!!

Had a great experience with Lucas and his team! Had our pool deck redone with pavers and it’s beyond my expectations! Also the whole project was done in 5.5 days! Unreal! And it was the best quote I got out of 3!

He gave a thorough and detailed walkthrough of what had to be done. The estimate for the entire project was exactly what we paid. I contacted Lucas to do sealing on my paver that I haven't done for 3 years and Wow, what an amazing job they did. His worker Felipe took his time cleaning and was very orginized.
